As a life coach, I have gone through my own process of transformation; which has given me experience and the understanding of what transformation feels like. I am a licensed massage therapist, which was my first awakening experience and have been practicing for 17 years. It awakened me to an alternative healing and lifestyle, than just mainstream living. This is where I was introduced to mindfulness and meditation, which changed my life! I went back to school to get my Bachelors in Psychology because I love to know why we do what we do and our motivation behind our choices. Finally, I completed my education with a Master’s in Public Health for Social and Behavioral health. This enabled me to realize it all starts with us; every thought and every choice.
I have been coaching for 7 years in a variety of topics; health and wellness, tobacco cessation, mindfulness and life coaching. Whatever transformation you are going through we can go through it together. Additionally, I teach Coaching for Behavior Change at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis campus.
Mindfulness is being in the present moment of life. Mindfulness coaching helps you be in the present moment of your life and build a mindfulness practice.
Life coaching encompasses your life and where you are or where you want to be in your life. If you feel like you are not living your best life, life coaching is for you!
Wellness coaching deals with physical wellness. Wellness coaching can help you make a plan to be at your best whether you are dealing with diet, exercise or both.

What is Coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative approach to finding solutions or moving into the space the client desires to be in. The coach and client work together to find a solution. A coach listens nonjudgmentally and empathetically to the client to find out which strategies would work best to move the client forward. Using techniques such as; motivational interviewing, appreciative inquiry, identity work, and many others; the client can move forward into the space they desire.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are normally 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the topic.
What happens in a typical session?
In a typical session, we discuss what transformation you are going through and how I can help you. I can choose from a variety of coaching techniques to help you reach your goals and full potential of who you want to be. The first session usually lasts from 45 to 60 minutes so that we can get to know each other and what you want to work on. Follow up sessions usually last 30 minutes, but can be extended to 60 minutes.
